This is such a beautiful, creepy, haunting version of Radiohead’s Creep (yep, Creep just got Creepier). It makes this trailer for the upcoming The Social Network movie feels… poignant. Honestly, without the song, I think the trailer wouldn’t have the same impact (I mean seriously, when I first heard about it, I thought ‘what? a facebook movie? isn’t that a bit silly? D:’) It’s the song that makes this trailer. Especially the beginning parts. Oh how the lyrics correspond to the images. Creepy, but so frikking relevant.
[that being said, even if they used some trashy pop song in the trailer, I’d still see it when it comes out. David Fincher and Andrew Garfield? I’m sold.]
Scala Choir- Creep (Radiohead Cover)
To call this cover “creepy” is an understatement, but placing the eerie track into the newest trailer for The Social Network is creepily genius. Perhaps it’s because this song was recorded before sites like Facebook even existed, and yet, still, years later adolescents- everyone, really- can still relate to profound moments of loneliness.
Did anyone else feel the compulsion to update their “About Me” after viewing this?
Maybe, I’m a creep.
What the hell am I doing here?
Am I a bad person...find it surprisingly effective.
